General Guidelines

Your “If Only Your Apartment Furniture Could Talk…” video must include at least one of the following ideas:

•    Creatively tell ForRent.com through the eyes and voice of your apartment furniture why YOU should win $10,000
•    Promote ForRent.com®/ and or For Rent Magazine®  somehow in the video Contest Criteria
•    The video must not infringe upon the rights of any third-party, including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, and rights of publicity and/or privacy
•    The video must be suitable for publication and may not be violent, immoral, offensive, illegal, pornographic, obscene, indecent or similarly   inappropriate
•    The video may not contain any content that is or may be perceived to be defamatory or that represents the Entities in a negative way or in any manner not consistent with Entities’ brand and/or reputation
•    The video may not contain any mention, discussion, logo, trademark, service mark, storefront, trade dress, mascot, photograph, or other image of any business or company, other than ForRent.com
•    The video may not copy, incorporate, or include music or video unless the entrant is the lawful copyright owner thereof
•    The video may not  include the likenesses of any identifiable persons other than the entrant, unless written permission is obtained by the entrant
•    The video cannot be dangerous or unsafe to make or produce, or include activities that are dangerous, unsafe, or present unreasonable risk of harm to person or property, or suggest or imply to any person to undertake any dangerous, unsafe or unduly risky activity
•    The video may not in any other way violate applicable laws and regulations

Submission Criteria

•    The video must be the original work of the entrant
•    The video may not have won previous awards or have been published previously
•    Limit one (1) video entry per registered user
•    Entrants may not enter the contest with multiple email addresses or under multiple identities May submit no more than one video entry per registered user in the Contest
•    Submissions become the sole property of ForRent.com
•    Videos submitted may or may not be posted on the Website, in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor shall have absolutely no obligation to give feedback or reasoning for why a video is not posted on the Website. Sponsor shall have the sole right to reject or remove a video from the Website at any time.

Video Specifications

•    The video can be no longer than two (2) minutes in length
•    The file size must be no larger than 100mb
•    The video must be submitted in one of the following formats: MPEG, AVI, ASF/WMV, QuickTime/MOV, VIVO, FLI, RealMedia (RM), NuppelVideo, yuv4mpeg, FILM, RoQ, OGG/OGM, PVA or NSV

Selection of Finalists and Grand Prize Winner

The Finalists and Grand Prize Winner will be selected based on a number of factors including, but not necessarily limited to:

•    Only one (1) vote may be submitted per verified e-mail address per day
•    The total number of user generated Internet votes received (250 Points) Internet votes shall be calculated at one point per vote, with a maximum of 250 points, regardless of the number of votes received
•    Overall quality and appearance of video – voting by Sponsor Panel (250 Points)
•    Creativity and originality of how well the video tells ForRent.com through the eyes and voice of your apartment furniture why you should win $10,000– Voting by Sponsor Panel (500 Points)
•    Promotion of ForRent.com and/or  For Rent Magazine – Voting by Sponsor Panel (250 Points)
•    Internet votes shall be calculated at one point per vote, with a maximum of 250 points, regardless of the number of votes received

Prizes

Video Submissions
•    The first 100 entrants to submit a video in compliance with all of the Official Rules will receive one (1) ForRent.com Can Hugger (ARV: $0.69)

Finalists
•    Ten (10) finalists will each receive one (1) iPod shuffle 1GB model (ARV: $49.00)

Grand Prize Winner
•    One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a $10,000 gift card (ARV: $10,000)
